I'm glad I'm not the one in his position.  OK, so he hasn't always been
perfect.  It doesn't change my admiration for the fellow for taking on a job
that you couldn't pay me to do.  Looking back over the debian-devel-announce
archives, I do see ample evidence that he has tried to keep his fellow
developers informed, even if he has made some mistakes along the way.  It is
a high-pressure job, and I doubt if I would have survived the ordeal if it
had been mine.
