Prospective binary packages: libreiserfs0.3-0, libreiserfs-dev,
libreiserfs-progs
progsreiserfs contains libreiserfs, a library for creating and
manipulating reiserfs filesystems. This package contains the library,
and a set of filesystem tools which use libreiserfs, much like
e2fsprogs. These tools differ from the "proper" reiserfs upstream
reiserfsprogs in that they use the library to do most of the work, and
they also have more "traditional" names for filesystem tools
(eg. "fsck.reiserfs" and "mkfs.reiserfs", rather than reiserfsprogs'
"reiserfsck" and "mkreiserfs").
This library is also used by new versions (> 1.6.0-pre10) of GNU Parted
(see package parted1.6 in experimental) for its reiserfs support, which
is the main reason that I am packaging this ...
