I would really like such a thing. Using that I could add user/passphrase
on the webserver that serves all (well some) configuration to the
hosts using debian packages. It would really be a nice feature.
That is better than the current host-based approach, which is not very
suited for hosts behind firewalls (lot of people can access without
any possibility to limit it).
It sounds very interesting!
