That sentence was for people who for some reason still haven't changed to
using apt, but were still using "cdrom", "harddisk" et al. Even though
nobody in their right mind would want to keep the old methods :) the change
needs to be done manually, AFAIK, and the users who happen to be upgrading
from bo or something should know about it.
