There's a difference--dselect's issues are mainly interface issues, apt's lack of recommends: is a technical issue. People flee dselect in droves because of the (addmittdly) horrid UI, but apt-get upgrade simply lacks an interface for handling something that can cause problems if ignored. -- Mike Stone
