We have already a WEB Package Browser in Debian: dpkg-www. It can be used
to browse installed and available packages using dpkg commands. It can also
list packages by section, task and has a (limited) keyword search function.
For more information:
# apt-get install dpkg-www
$ dpkg-www '?'
If the aptitude categories are available using standard debian mechanism
I could add them to dpkg-www.
