I can agree with that.

At the time (over a year ago), those participating in the LSB work felt that
is was needed, so it got added.  I agree, that it probably isn't needed, and
just want to back it out in an appropriate manner.

OK 8-). I do feel that part of the proceedure is to understand why it was
added in the first place. The only thing worse than having it in there, would
be to remove it, and then discover the hard way why it had been put in there
to begin with.
