As it's very easy to see, this is not a Debian issue. It's a problem of the guy who owns IP 12.237.150.30 (or at least owned it at 11 Feb 2002 23:59:51) as you can see in the headers. Received: (qmail 5769 invoked from network); 11 Feb 2002 23:59:51 -0000 Received: from 12-237-150-30.client.attbi.com (HELO dbserver) (12.237.150.30) by murphy.debian.org with SMTP; 11 Feb 2002 23:59:51 -0000 Of course, Debian must take care about spam, but what must be folowed is people sending spam. If not, we can reach the point when SMTP is going to be forbidden because it's used to send spam. We could also forbid ships, as they're used to transport drugs. Using closed mailing lists is a _bad idea_ Regards, Jose Carlos Garcia Sogo jsogo@debian.org
