You only need to do that if you want to link mutt against openssl
instead of gnutls, if you want to that you need libssl-dev.
But there is really no need for that, debian's binary package already
is ssl-enabled (via gnutls), simply grab mutt 1.2.27-something and
gnutls3 (afaik not yet in woody).
