I didn't like this suggestion at first because it would hide RC bugs
which could potentially enter testing. Andrew Suffield has just
proposed that bugs tagged "pending" should be omitted so people don't
spend time on them. He suggested putting the number of bugs tagged
"sid" or "pending" in parenthesis so it's clear where the bugs apply.
I like this solution and it's now available for both
