Not really.  It tends to become maintained by debain QA.  If it is there a
long time, seems that nobody uses it, or that it has lots of release
critical bugs that nobody cares about then it might be removed.

We sort of usually hope that someone will come along and pick it up at some
point.  Our users deserve package not to disappear on them IMO.
