Using CVS through proxies is a very difficult problem.
I have been using ssh CVS connections through ssh forwarding, and other
tricks, but I have not managed to play with pserver very well.
It should be possible, but I don't know.

I dreamt of coding a CVS proxy that works very well, but 
I have not done much progress.
