if you leave it as an mpeg stream over the network and use the computer you
are viewing it on to uncompress the mpeg stream it shouldnt be so bad. tridge,
paulus and co watch mpeg streams quite well off their tivo's through the isa
10 Mbit interface they hacked onto them as they stream the compressed data,
ofcourse paulus decodes mpeg streams on a g4 500 with special altivec code
hacked in to make it run at a respectable speed, but that is a nother issue
