I think you should rename that to cups-printing

Have a look at the netscape package[1], it is a meta package that also
works in a similar way, and is very popular, but it isn't prefixed
with task-, so it wont clog up task-sel.

Note:
[1] Yes - netscape isn't DFSG free, but I think it would be the
same even if it was.
