I actually didn't make it the default.  It's actually the lowest
option on the totem pole.  update-alternatives is messing up and
putting xemacs and xemacs21 on manual mode for some odd reason.  Try
running "update-alternatives --auto xemacs ; update-alternatives
--auto xemacs21" and things work correctly.

I've uploaded a new package to frozen and woody to fix this.  No idea
when it'll get installed.  If you can find why the startup scripts
mess up and put gnuclient as the manual choice you'll have my greatest
thanks.

It doesn't happen locally.  Just to some people.
