Xlib does not support locales; Trying C

Hi people.


I'm a brazilian user and I have a "little problem" that prevents my
Debian Slink (r1) from use translated messages of X programs that
"should" support this feature (Gnome, Window Maker et cetera).
My LANG=pt_BR environment variable allows me to use translated messages
in console programs without problems, but when I initialize X I get that
error message (see Subject).
Can anyone help me?
