If we cant fix the problem, it should be possible to fix the symptoms,
at least. The reason the `bash' installation fails is that one of the
`{post,pre}{inst,rm}'s of either libreadline or bash fails to run
because of the broken /bin/sh -> /bin/bash symlink. If none of the
scripts surrounding the two need /bin/sh, things should be better.
