As a Debian developer and as the co-worker and officemate of a NetBSD zealot, I must add that the whole topic of De Raadt attitude is quite controversial. I suggest that we do not base Debians choices on an unilateral view of this case.
Let's talk about technical (how to put an other kernel than Linux), practical (have we enough people to do it) and legal (is the NetBSD licence OK for us) matters only, please.
