Yep, just plain data files:

[3]wyvern:~/DEBIAN/nighthawk/nighthawk-1.0$ wi \*.f |wc
    124     124    5642
[3]wyvern:~/DEBIAN/nighthawk/nighthawk-1.0$ wi \*.f |xargs cat |wc
  35194   35318   86768
