Communicator breaks when trying to follow mailto: links

Hello,

I have installed:

Package: communicator-base-45
Status: install ok installed
Priority: optional
Section: non-free/web
Installed-Size: 29
Maintainer: Adam Heath <adam.heath@usa.net>
Source: netscape4.5
Version: 4.5-1
Depends: netscape-base-45, netscape-base-4
Description: Popular World-Wide-Web browser software (base support)
Netscape (pronounced "Mozilla") is a graphical World-Wide-Web browser
with many features. It supports advanced features of HTML and new
technologies such as "Java" from Sun Microsystems.
 .
You will need the "ImageMagick" package installed if you wish to
get in-line support of image types not directly supported by netscape.
 .
This package provides support routines for all netscape version 4.x
  packages.

Package: communicator-smotif-45
Status: install ok installed
Priority: optional
B
Section: non-free/web
Installed-Size: 11957
Maintainer: Adam Heath <adam.heath@usa.net>
Source: netscape4.5
Version: 4.5-1
Provides: netscape, www-browser, news-reader, mail-reader, communicator-browser-45, netscape-browser-45
Depends: libc6, libc6 (>= 2.0.7u), libg++272 (>= 2.7.2.8), xlib6g (>= 3.3-5), xpm4g (>= 3.4j-0), communicator-base-45, netscape-base-4
Recommends: netscape-java-45
Suggests: communicator-nethelp-45, communicator-spell-45
Description: Popular World-Wide-Web browser software (full static Motif version)
This provides the communicator binary that doesn't need to have motif
 installed.

Whenever I follow a mailto: link or I try to press a "Submit" button
of a form which starts a mailing process Communicator dies with
SIGBUS error. This is from my .xsession-errors file:

/usr/local/bin/netscape: line 64: 477 Bus-Zugriffsfehler LD_PRELOAD=/lib/libBrokenLocale.so.1 $netscape "$@"
/usr/local/bin/netscape: line 64: 2771 Bus-Zugriffsfehler LD_PRELOAD=/lib/libBrokenLocale.so.1 $netscape "$@"

Anybody has a clue for the reason??

Kind regards

      Andreas.
