You can have a look at the current output of paul's diff (that's as
far as I got as far as naming it is concerned :) at
ftp://ftp.murphy.nl/pub/debian/alpha/diff ; the perl script used to
generate it is available in the same directory.

It basically compares the contents of the Packages files, including
versions. There is first a list of packages not at all compiled yet,
then a list of out of date packages.  This is taking into account
the packages that are to be ignored (i386-specific) and equivalencies
(libc6 on i386 == libc6.1 on alpha, for example).

Yes. I only made my script because I find the output easier to read.
YMMV.  It also makes note of any alpha .debs in Incoming on master,
so that it's obvious which packages need porting and which packages have
been ported but not yet installed.
