It does. Unpack, add:
PERL_SUPPORT DONT
PERL_LIB -rdynamic -L/usr/local/lib /usr/lib/perl5/i386-linux/5.004/auto/DynaLoader/DynaLoader.a -L/usr/lib/perl5/i386-linux/5.004/CORE -lperl -lnsl -lndbm -lgdbm -ldbm -ldb -ldl -lm -lc -lposix -lcrypt
PERL_INC -I/usr/lib/perl5/i386-linux/5.004/CORE -Dbool=char -DHAS
at the end of debian/config.data.debian, rebuild and install.
