Right.  I should have mentioned that.  I haven't been using tm since I
upgraded to emacs 20.2, but it worked OK before that.  Frankly, I
don't get enough MIME stuff to matter, and when I do, I just pipe it
to uudeview (it handles most of the things I care about).

As far as I can tell, that's the best console MUA (other than Gnus on
a console :>).

Right, I've heard about the semi-Gnus stuff, but haven't had a need.
I'm sure that when Lars gets around to it, his MIME stuff will be
stunning and "The Right Thing (TM)".  I have yet to see him do
*anything* halfway :>

I don't know.  I handle hundreds of messages with Gnus a day, and I
find that it's almost always waiting on me :>  but YMMV.  Perhaps I'm
not trying to do the same operations you are...
