i know kde very well in this regard :
the qt licence is not a problem, so there is no reason to fix it.

and because people flamed them very often, but never asked them with friendly
words, i agree with them. this is free software : you can't force anyone to do
anything. please don't try it, you will only push people away from free
software world. if you want things to be done, you have to do them yourself.
but the best of free software is : once you do something yourself, it's very
likely that people will team up with you and help you.
