The problem with Qt is that it wants to impose limitaions on the license I
pick for the software _I_ write using it. I hate that and as a developer
this fact ruled out my using Qt completely.
Same thing goes for any GPL'd (not LGPL'd) library.

Well, Debian does support Open Source. The definition of Open Source
is a plain copy of Debian Free Software Guidlines :)
