Hi.. I am the new xinetd maintainer, and I am looking for someone that is somewhat experienced in writing perl scripts. What I need is for someone to write (or help me write) a new xinetd specific version of /usr/sbin/update-inetd. This is not a HUGE job, since one only needs to adopt the existing update-inetd script, and steal things from the DebianNet perl module.. The only problem is that my knowledge of perl begins and ends with the print statement, and my time is a bit scarce lately. Please contact me if you are interested in helping, and I will give you the exact details on how I thought this should be done. The aim is to get this into hamm. Although this might not be possible, I'd like to try..
