It's not quite that easy. The PalmOS tools are built by patching
specific versions of gcc, gdb, and binutils as part of the build
process -- the PalmOS code is not part of the main distribution
(yet).

The patches and other tools can be found at
   ftp://ryeham.ee.ryerson.ca/pub/PalmOS/prc-tools.0.5.0.tar.gz

(Note: check the filename, I probably have some .'s and -'s in the
wrong place.)

At any rate, anyone interested in this project should probably join
the debian-pilot mailing list. A lot of people there are eagerly
waiting for this stuff to be packaged, and I think that someone may
already be working on it.

(*Building* it on a Debian system is painless, except that it takes a
lot of time and disk space. *Packaging* it, however, may be an
entirely different problem :-)
