* Apply upstream patch to fix several bugs:
- Fixes segfaults in the first level. (Closes: #169525)
- Fixes (unreported?) segfault on PPC.
- Fix to joystick behavior (the same as below)
- Fixes typo in speed adjustment.

To apply this patch, I had to revert the joystick patch mentioned
below, but the patch includes a fix for that problem.
