   * My apologies.  I didn't properly deal with the removal of
     /usr/bin/mftrace1.5 in my last NMU (1.0.34-0.1), causing serious
     problems.  Thankfully, Julian came up with the remedy:

       I suggest that we make the following fixes - Anthony: would you be
       willing to do this, as my key is still not back in the keyring?
 .
       (1) In the preinst (non-existent at present), we should
           update-alternatives --remove mftrace /usr/bin/mftrace1.5
           (that's what caused this bug, it would appear)
 .
       (2) In the postinst, remove the mftrace1.5 paragraph
 .
       (3) At the end of the postinst, run update-alternatives --auto mftrace
           After all, for the user, it is irrelevant which version of python
           is being used - the purpose of the alternatives is only to ensure
           that an installed version of python is used.
 .
     I apologize for getting this fixed so late.  (closes: #272833)
