Architecture: powerpc
Version: 1.9.18p10-7
Distribution: unstable
Urgency: low
Maintainer: Debian/PowerPc Build Daemon <buildd@powerpc.debian.org>
Description:
samba - A LanManager like fileserver and simple client for Unix.
smbfsx - Mount and umount commands for the smbfs and kernels > 2.1.70.
Changes:
samba (1.9.18p10-7) frozen unstable; urgency=low
.
* Fixed postinst to not remove configuration file
/etc/cron.weekley/samba. I knew something was wrong because I never
saw the weekly cron file for Samba in my installations, but I never
found what the problem was. This closes #30490 (thanks to
ujr@physik.phy.tu-dresden.de (Ulf Jaenicke-Roessler) for finding the
problem.
* Samba suggests package samba-doc (fixes #30771 and #30932).
* Recompiled against new libc.
* /etc/init.d/samba now looks for configuration data in
/etc/samba/debian_config to know if it is running as daemons or
from inetd. Before I was looking at /etc/inetd.conf, which assumes
the user is running inetd. This closes #29687 (samba assumes using
vanilla inetd).
