Upcoming dates: 11 Jul 2026 bookworm 12.15 (final), trixie 13.6 12 Sep 2026 trixie 13.7 14 Nov 2026 trixie 13.8 9 Jan 2027 trixie 13.9 13 Mar 2027 trixie 13.10 8 May 2027 trixie 13.11 Dates are subject to change but we will maintain these unless unavoidable. Each release will be confirmed via announcements nearer the time. Bookworm final release and LTS transition ========================================== 12.15 on 11 July 2026 is the final bookworm point release, after which bookworm passes to the LTS team [LTS]. The queue may be frozen early if there is significant outstanding work. Please ensure any fixes are filed and processed in good time. Requesting a stable update =========================== As a reminder, the update criteria are documented in the Developer's Reference [DEVREF]. Use `reportbug release.debian.org` to file your request, as this gets the metadata right. Include a *source* debdiff, rationale, and relevant bug numbers, and await a request to upload before doing so. If you are confident the upload will be accepted without changes, you may upload at the same time. A tracking bug is required in all cases and uploads without one will be flagged and may be rejected. Do not close the request bug in the changleog.
