Dear Developers,
there are a couple of changes in the New Members Front Desk team, that
I'd like to announce:
- Xavier Oswald is stepping down from the team; Christoph Berg is
stepping down too, but has kindly given his availability to remain as
Front Desk "wizard", to back up more active team members if the need
arises. Let's thank both of them for their past work as Front Desk
members!
- Jonathan Wiltshire is joining Front Desk and deserves all our best
wishes for his new role (especially because he'll have to work twice,
to cover up for *two* team members stepping down :-P)
Below you can find an updated formal delegation, listing all current
team members.

NM Front Desk delegation

Job Description
---------------
The Front Desk is the team that runs the NM process and supports the
Debian Account Managers.
Activities of the team include:
- acting as points of contact and support for Application Managers
(AMs), applicants, advocates and everyone involved in the NM process
- assigning AMs to applicants
- dealing with collab-maint [1] join requests
- dealing with requests [2] for temporary porter accounts
- checking AM reports for consistency and handing them over to DAM
- ensuring that the NM process runs smoothly
- managing the NM web interface [3], database, mailing aliases, and
other infrastructure
