LWN subscription for Debian developers

Hello.
Some of you noticed that the Linux Weekly News, aka lwn.net, changed to a
subscription model for full access, and wondered if Debian developers could
arrange some sort of group access.
I'm pleased to report that the answer is yes! LWN offered to treat Debian
developers as a group, and HP offered to fund Debian's subscription fee. My
thanks to both for their continuing support of the Debian development
community!
Here's how it works. If you're a Debian developer and you want full LWN
access, go to lwn.net and create an account for yourself. Then, send email to
lwn-subscription@debian.org
containing your LWN account name. Sign this email with your key on the
Debian keyring. Then, exercise patience. Eventually, I or a delegate will
process your request, adding you to the "Debian Project group" at LWN using
the account management interface at lwn.net.
I need a volunteer or two to respond to requests from Debian developers for
access. If you're a Debian developer with time, interest in helping, and a
little tolerance for dealing with the web-based account management interface
at lwn.net, please let me know.
Thank you for your time.
Bdale
