(For those who are not aware of this issue, please read #92810) Since the doc-rfc packages have been moved to non-free, I have just cloned the doc-rfc RC bug (#92810) and assigned it to some other packages which provide RFCs (for a full list see the the bug report, but more might be affected). I advise maintainers which include RFCs in their packages to remove the RFC documentation from them. Also, since ISOC has not been contacted (as far as the information on the bug reports describes), it would be nice for someone to clarify the copyright issue with ISOC (the maintainer does not want to do it himself, as he states in the last upload's changelog). It seems that some RFCs might be DFSG-free (probably the earliest), I encourage maintainers to clear this up with the Internet Society and, if possible, create a package with DFSG-free RFCs. This has been discussed several times at debian-legal [1] and is now currently discussed there [2] too.
