If I may suggest another, perhaps less controversial alternative: How
about just removing the disputed text altogether? While it would be nice
to able to point people in the direction of DVD burning software in this
context, it isn't really essential, and it may not be worth the hassle
of arguing about which DVD burning software to point to, especially
since there is a clear conflict between the desires of the upstream
author and the free software ideals of the Debian project.
