Trying to rebuild all of Debian Packages
Hi,
Just an interim note on rebuilding all of Debian.
As some people might have noticed me filing about 100 bugs,
I have been rebuilding all of Debian.
The values that follow are not accurate, but probably will
give some idea of what it is.
There were
$ ls -l DEPWAIT/*.log | wc -l
180
packages which did not have satisfyable B-D's
There were
$ ls -l FAILED/*.log | wc -l
195
packages which could not be built
There were
$ ls -l FAILED/NOBUILDDEP/*.log | wc -l
437
packages which had no build deps
There were
$ ls -l SUCCESS/*.log | wc -l
4114
that built successfully from source.
The whole build run took 1 week, on a Athlon 900, with memory 512 MB
regards,
junichi
