bugsquash results

Hello,
A little note on last weekend's Bug Squashing Party.

We started on Friday evening, at 19:00 GMT more or less, and finished on
Monday 00:00 GMT or so.
Many people participated during the whole weekend and the result is that
about 130 bugs were closed, tagged "potato" or their severity was lowered as
they weren't RC. The numbers aren't accurate, but you can get an idea of
what packages were affected if you look at our status file, at
http://people.debian.org/~jordi/STATUS, where we tried to note whatever
happened to any package during the bug party. The effects can be seen in
the BugScan graph, at http://master.debian.org/~wakkerma/bugs, although
porters also worked hard this weekend and ~20 new bugs were filled every day.

There will be some bug parties organized when Woody starts freezing some
of its components, they will be announced a week before at least. I hope
those have as much participation as this one did, which was very
successful in my opinion. As we didn't touch bugs that had been active
during the previous two weeks, many easy bugs are left still. Maybe
updating packages with really old Standard-Versions would be a good
idea, we came across many packages with really weird debian/ dirs.

Thanks to everyone that participated!

Jordi
