Under what circumstances would a user be using the standard install disks instead of our custom ones, when what they wanted from the beginning was to install a custom system? So long as our custom disks have high enough profile on www.d.o so that the user discovers them, I don't think this is a big issue. As I understand it, "in the very beginning o the installation process" means a usable subset of the task must be on the base disk set. I don't think it is reasonable to expect we can do this for all CDDs for the standard install disks. Ben
