(You can make your list, too, with the simple:

It's the spammer's equation: very stupid people are rare, but the cost
of doing lots of trying is low anyway.  It's not that there can't be DDs
that stupid, it's that the number of DDs is not yet big enough to have a
decent probability to find one.

Unfortunately, this also works the other way with spammers: there's
already enough of them to observe some doing pretty stupid things.
