recommend SnowCrash first, to get used to NTS's style... :-)
After SC, you'll be addicted^H^H^Hready for the other books: Diamond
Age, Zodiac: An Eco-Thriller, The Big U.

BTW: Anybody heard of a release date of "Cryptonomicon, Part II" (read:
"Quicksilver")?
