In my recent musings, I have come to the conclusion that true geeks must
be able to think abstractly, and that the result of this is that they
appreciate the humour in absurdity more than others.  (In general.)
Thus the popularity of Monty Python, and such.

(It may also explain the lack of spelling and grammar abilities of most
geeks.)

So the next time your boss catches you posting to debian-curiosa about
apt-get removing your pants, tell him that you're just doing some
exercises in a critical cognitive process that will help you to be a
better programmer/engineer/whatever it is you do.
