I think I'd probably resign from the TC, since such a resolution would
be a vote of no confidence in our judgement.

I can understand that in general people looking in from the outside
might think that they could do a better job, but it seems pretty odd for
you to suffer from that delusion, given that you actually had this job
for the vast majority of the TCs existence, and as you've already
forcefully stated, failed to act even once in similar cases.

Now you're interfering just as we appear to be settling on a consensus.

I'm sure there must be something constructive for you to be getting on
with instead.
