I don't think we have such an option even proposed. [Or even, any
options.] I'd probably be OK with an option which punted back to
maintainers to figure things out in the absence of real options. That's
technically no different than FD, but maybe effectively different.

I don't think using CTTE powers to try to prejudge something like this
for all un-proposed options is acceptable. Further discussion may be
annoying, but even if the CTTE were to decide, we'd still be discussing.
