It would be better not to have the discussion via the BTS, but just on
the ctte mailing list. See http://www.debian.org/devel/tech-ctte,
where we describe the tech ctte process.
You'll have to subscribe to the list to post, I'm afraid. That does
seem to be controversial; if you object to it please participate in
those discussions.
