March 1, 1999: The Program Works, Software, Inc. a Wyoming, MN company 
introduces The Program Works, Hardware and announces five new PC 
configurations all with Debian Linux factory installed and configured. 

The first system, the ProgWorks AE-100, is an entry level workstation
and offers a 350MHz AMD-6 processor with 64MB Ram and an 8GB hard disk.  
Ideal for the home user who wants to surf the net and learn about Linux. 

The following systems all use Supermicro motherboards with your choice 
of 1 or 2 Intel Pentium II processors and IDE or SCSI peripherals: 

IDE Systems: 
  
    The ProgWorks PE-100 line offers a single processor and is ideal 
       as a personal Linux Workstations. 
    The ProgWorks PE-200 line offers a dual processor for use as a 
       personal Linux Workstation or a small Server. 


SCSI Systems: 
  
    The ProgWorks PS-100 line offers a single processor and designed 
        to be used as either a Workstation or a small business server 
        where fast file access is required. 
    The ProgWorks PS-200 line offers a dual processor and designed to 
        be used as either a high performance Workstation or server. 

Custom configurations and rack mount versions are also available.  

Pre-configured workstations and servers based upon the Intel 
Pentium III and Xeon processors will also available soon. 

All systems are installed and configured or come with the following: 
  

    Debian Linux system ready to run right out of the box.  
        (Debian CD?s included) 
    An external Multi-tech modem 
    Sound Card 
    17? monitor 
    Xfree86 
    Several Compilers (Basic, C, and C++) 
    O?Reilly & Associates books:  
          Running Linux, Linux Network Administrators? Guide
          and Linux in a Nutshell. 
    Network Drivers are also installed and can be configured to the 
          users specifications. 

Remote system administration services are also available for all 
systems with a modem or connection directly to the internet.  Call
