Azure images updated with new agent
Hi all
Following this weekends 9.2 (stable) release, we have updated the
corresponding Debian images on Azure, which should be by now available
in all regions. These images are all marked as public image from the
publisher "credativ".
Thanks to the acceptance of the release team, we were able to update the
waagent package, which adds the possibility to run unmodified images on
Azure Stack.
The latest images are:
* Debian 9
credativ:Debian:9:9.0.201710090
* Debian 9 with backports kernel
credativ:Debian:9-backports:9.0.201710090
* Debian 8
credativ:Debian:8:8.0.201710090
* Debian 8 with backports kernel
credativ:Debian:8-backports:8.0.201710090
The latest images are automaticaly selected when using the Azure portal.
We also updated the 8.9 Jessie and 8.9 jessie-backport images, to
include the latest waagent version.
Additionaly we published the first version of Debian 9 backports image,
which have the kernel from backports.
