Bug#838999: Acknowledgement (Vagrant box inaccessible due to missing network cable (VirtualBox))

That would be great, thanks!

( NB: the bug does not occur on
my system so I have to rely on external users to verify it is fixed)

I know how that goes - we can only test with KVM and VirtualBox on a CentOS 7 host, and then hope that other platforms also work. [1]

I performed the same steps as your Makefile's %.box target on OS X, using VirtualBox 5.0.26 and Vagrant 1.8.4 (I created an empty disk image instead using of a real Debian installation, but that shouldn't affect the VM settings). The resulting Vagrant box has an USB 2.0 controller, no audio and an already connected network card. The box I got after importing debian/jessie64 8.6.0 is different: it had audio, no USB controller and a disconnected network card. USB and audio probably have to disabled explicitly via VBoxManage calls to be sure they comply with Vagrant recommendations, but I have no idea why the two NIC configurations are different.

Best regards,
Laurențiu
