This looks promising. Besides that, starting a virtual env with the
VirtualBox provider is not that fast, and it often happen I have some
proxmox KVM machines in the backgroup and then the fight for /dev/kvm
starts.

Boarding puppet and chef brings 150MB to the boxes as I have seen.

Well even they don't have any official status, I think it would be nice
to have this box in Atlas as well.

Do you have an account on Atlas ? If yes I can add you as a collaborator
for the "debian" project there. It would be mostly interesting to get
the boxes available under:

vagrant init debian/jessie64 --provider lxc
