Hm, looks like my earlier reply didn't go to the list, so lets try that again.... I started setting this up, but turned out that using cloudfront was cheaper - with the side effect of not being restircted to just AWS regions. Every AWS region also (currently) has a CloudFront POP, which from a traffic charging perspective from EC2 is within each AZ. The only down side is first-hit time. Do you see an issue with using cloudfront.d.n? (Ref my preso at DebConf 13 for details on low TTL for /dists and /projects via interstittal host with mod_headers) James - -- /Mobile:/ +61 422 166 708, /Email:/ james_AT_rcpt.to -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.17 (MingW32) iQIcBAEBAgAGBQJSnz9XAAoJEK7IKHSdhcU8W8gP+gO0mB65FTG4tUe+NdqQ42UG xFQ51yuB75ttXMXtNZvcJXbURSW9xOtR5KGuUXR8X49PALxz6Jve3no/dGyafqrI B0wfxrwnyXWhqZLiF/QEJbOjRzMs+Og7rqW3fb2+Mkml/KK+rSsYLu/Tv23djN+F 0VzefzwMutToXeImbHvOozUYAHAWi72ySayfGRnDnllStlfFUN83Cj4hu0P9xcTA nA3x0JVckBKkDGSVszLger+LXfw275Dytg9RKAU67k5mdbJgkJGi7bEfFxINJUtv JasX5PikWQkJfr23VsAnPvCDw1cUtRVR/CQr5lPu7gWhNw2koIgLD537086VM8H4 NL47Sx4O5ZP8EjHVGfkdwoixnNRN6LwmAId8ODGL8IhewUTWVA64YHq8gt9sSzmc vS20xfcOp90HCZuf09/IlPZ8EQLIUOOZe42Lxxm7WAGc8P3HBze87GXGzRQdocMQ k9YIB9h8FJKhpscVTezebfwwWbiqyBCgFlmUsE09N8IYclBuyJpQkwb6jyt6R2z7 jY7MiGPEeMRGkXPQrWXTL+Zi6fBkWAE0shrvl+oykmVuTW5lcYEkQGkX67Kyc6Os +nZuh6mkDLL0KX58VC/JmQP1DHZuNpNWoA/R3uCy0TXe9Fwpd9nFOwbgClp+710R wFtGhTQhoqxeE2Umtg7w =dOEc -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- |
