That looks ideal. I'll add the Breaks in gobject-introspection git when
I see the bug-closing mail for unstable.

I probably won't upload that change immediately, because I'm also waiting
for similar changes in ruby-gnome and libglib-object-introspection-perl.
The ABI break only seems to affect arm64, which probably doesn't have many
Cinnamon or GNOME users yet, so the broken partial upgrades are a bit of a
corner-case.
